Just about me
I have always lived in Texas. I am married and I have 3 daughters. 2 are adulting and living in different states, one is still home and many years away from leaving the nest. I have a cat and 6 chickens. I love my chickens! In my free time, I love to paint and crochet. I love doing anything artsy and craftsy. I like coffee and anything pumpkin flavored. My favorite candy is dark chocolate but I will not turn down any chocolate. I like to bake and bring treats to school for the teachers. I think I knew in 1st grade that I wanted to be a teacher but tried many other things before finally declaring my major at UT Tyler. I played the flute and piccolo in school and college. I have visited Canada, Mexico, and Honduras. I would like to travel to Italy, Scotland and France one day. This is year 28 of teaching and I just think I am getting better at it each day. I absolutely love my job (on most days!)

Here are some more tongue twisters. Try these out and see how many you can say as fast as you can without making mistakes.
How about some phonics tongue twisters today, practice reading each of the tongue twisters several times. Once you read them the first time then re read them trying to speed up each time till you can read them quickly several times in a row with no mistakes. See how many times you can read them quickly making no mistakes. You can practice this on your own and then challenge a friend, family member, or teacher and see who can read them the fastest and with no mistakes. The goal is to read them several times in a row fast making no mistakes. Let me know how many you can do quickly and I will see if I can beat you! Check back each day for more tongue twisters.

Look at the list of common words we use all the time. Your challenge is to try out one of the newer words to replace the overused word. Try using one newer word each day instead of the common words that are always used. Come back and review this chart often and try out new words! This will not be the last time you see this chart!
