my second grade last week you learn if a word has a vowel consonant pattern a short sound and you want to change its meaning a little bit by adding the LED to make it past tense or the ing for president you must have two consonants after the short vowel if the word is not had two consonants after the shore Val you have to double the consonant it's called the consonant doubling rule this week your money but if you want to change the meaning of a word that has a vowel consonant sneaky pattern by adding e d or ing you have to drop the silent E and then add on the ing this rule is called a drop and it applies to words that have the vowel consonant sneaky e pattern or the silent e at the end route to work going to start with they're all going to be valve sneaky e words start with the words they were adding e d to so our first work we have a word with a vowel consonant sneaky e bisi right here silent it makes the eye.
