Welcome!

     Hello, I'm so glad you're here. I am the K-5 Special Education Life Skills teacher. This is my third year teaching. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas of Tyler.  I received my teaching certification through iTeach Texas. I am also a graduate of Troup High School! I have two wonderful ladies on my team, Monica Thompson and Megan McPhail. My team and I are so excited to start the new school year!

     My daughters and I live in Troup with two spoiled guinea pigs and two dogs. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family every chance I get.

     I am a volunteer with the AFSP. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has a mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. I work with some amazing friends every year organizing the Tyler Out of the Darkness walk. I am also captain of a walk team called Christopher's Posse.
