PE

Hello sweet people!  I hope everyone is healthy, and you aren't climbing the walls. :)
With that being said, PLEASE ask a parent/guardian to help you with this next thing (unless you're allowed to have one already) and please DO NOT do it without their permission or knowledge.
 
I have created an Instagram handle for PE, you can tag me with your pictures, and I will leave some there for you to see me doing these assignments with you too!

Just some good info:  BeachBody has allowed us free access to the kids workouts, so feel free to choose one of these today, or anytime during the week along with whatever else I post.

Today I would like you to watch the video on the circulatory system below that will give you some insight about how your heart pumps blood and delivers oxygen to various parts of your body.

  1. How can you take care of your circulatory system?  
  2. What does the heart pump through your body?
  3. What are the names of the two types of blood cells?  
  4. BONUS: What color is the blood when it has oxygen? 


Participating in cardiovascular endurance exercises will help you keep your heart healthy and strong so it can pump blood throughout your body! Pick 3 exercises below to complete your cardio workout:


  • 100 Jumping Jacks (you can break these up into groups if needed)
  • Jump Rope 100 times (if you don’t have a jump rope, do the imaginary version)
  • Play basketball for 30 minutes, or an active game of  your choice 
  • Ride your bike, run around your yard/house 4 times, run up and down the driveway, or take a walk on your road. DON’T forget to be SAFE!

Happy Monday!  Today we are going to do AMRAP = As Many Rounds as Possible.  I Suggest your time to move be anywhere from 8-10 minutes. Do AMRAP! You can run your laps around a room or house.

For Tuesday all you need is a dice, and if you don't have one, make some number cards on paper and draw a number!  It's supposed to be a pretty day so make sure you take advantage of that too!

Happy "wog" Wednesday!  I hope you already have the C25K app downloaded, but if not, please do so.  I also have a fun little challenge you can do with a friend, or sibling using a balloon or ball.  Get outside today too, it's supposed to be gorgeous!!

Happy Thursday all!  Today is a fun little challenge for all of you bottle flippers out there, that you can do outside or inside if your parents don't mind.  If you don't have hula-hoops, you can draw circles with sidewalk chalk, or use pieces of paper for your targets!  Hope you like it and have some fun with it!
