All About Me
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am starting my 18th year of teaching. This will be my ninth year at Troup Elementary and I am very excited to share this year with your child.
I have been married to my best friend Heath for 16 years. We have two handsome boys that our world revolves around. Both of my boys love it here at Troup and we are so happy as parents to be a part of this great community. We love spending time on our farm tending to our cows and riding the Ranger through the pasture. My family and my faith are very important to me. God has blessed me with a wonderful family and brought me to a fantastic school district.
My personal teaching philosophy is that every child is capable of learning. Every child learns differently and it is my goal to find which learning style is best for your child. I strive to have a safe, loving, and inviting classroom environment with engaging activities to reach every students needs. I look forward to an exciting year full of adventures and learning.
