Welcome to Mrs. Brashear’s class!
I am so excited to be a part of the Troup Elementary family! I have taught for 21 years. My husband, Jay, coaches at the high school and we have 2 children, Riley and Reese. In our spare time, we enjoy being outdoors and attending sporting events. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2003, and then I earned my Master's Degree from Sam Houston State University.
I am looking forward to a fabulous school year!

At Troup Elementary, we use Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia. This is a wonderful program developed by the staff of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas.
