About Me

Hi!! My name is Caitlyn Jones, this is my 8th year teaching. I previously taught first grade in Rusk ISD before moving to the wonderful Kindergarten position in Troup. I graduated from Ut Tyler with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and I am certified EC-6th grade!

I am married to a Police officer who is the Troup PD K-9 officer, Jason Jones, and we have a son who attends Troup ISD, Beau and a daughter Finley who will when she is old enough :)! We have 4 dogs a great dane/lab mix named Gus Gus and a boxer named Remington and minature weenie dog named Snax Bananas and then our K-9 Cooper. 

I am excited to get to know each of my students and see them grow all through their educational journey. In my class having fun is one of the most important things, of course while learning. This year is going to be great and I can’t wait to share it with each of you
