Reading Intervention

Welcome to Reading Intervention!  My name is Jessica Chambers.    This will be my nineteenth year in education and my eleventh year at Troup Elementary.  I love being a Troup tiger! I graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce in 2007.  Before moving to Reading Intervention, I taught first grade for fourteen years.  I am so excited to help students improve their reading and writing!  

My husband and I have two sweet and busy boys, Logan and Levi!  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching my boys play sports, reading and volunteering at my church.  I am looking forward to a great year with your child!  I am always happy to help so if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!  

Reading Intervention is such an important and wonderful program!    This program is designed to help struggling kindergarten, first, second and third graders strengthen their reading abilities.  Students will be taught in a small group setting and will work on building phonics, fluency, comprehension, reading and writing skills.
