Troup Elementary hosted a Jedi-themed pep rally to get students fired up before the STAAR tests. Inspiring words from Jedi Cooksey, Jedi Knighton & Princess Stanley encouraged the padawan students to have patience, use the force and strategies learned, and defeat the Death STAAR! Students in untested lower grades offered cheers of encouragement, as did the teachers in grade 3, 4, & 5.
