Troup Elementary is no longer offering universal breakfast in the classroom before school. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria starting at 7:30 a.m. for any student who wishes to eat. There will be a main option of a complete hot breakfast, or the choice of toast with jelly, a bowl of cereal with a piece of toast, juice, or fruit. Students will report directly to the cafeteria upon arriving at school. After eating breakfast students will report to class. Class begins at 8:00 am.
The cafeteria will no longer offer Tiger Boxes as an option for lunch but will be serving two choices of entrees.
School breakfast and lunch prices for students will increase for the 2023-24 school year. The prices for breakfast and lunch are as follows:
Reduced Student: no charge
Full Price Student: $2.50
Lunch
Reduced Student: $.40
Full Price Student: $3.50
The price for ice cream will be $1.50.
