Troup FFA officers Claire Puckett and Katelynn Carter visited Troup Elementary 5th-grade students to read the book I LOVE Strawberries! by Shannon Anderson and to deliver some tasty strawberry fruit strips.
Mrs. Brashear's 4th-grade students enjoyed the same book and are excitedly watching the classroom strawberry plants grow! 🍓
The books were provided by the Texas Farm Bureau as part of their Ag Literacy Week Book Program. K-5 teachers across the state were invited to join the Texas Farm Bureau in increasing agricultural literacy in the classroom this week by reading an educational, accurate ag book: I LOVE Strawberries!
