Mrs. Cover’s 3rd Grade

I have been teaching in my hometown of Troup since 2000. I worked at Caldwell Elementary Arts Academy in Tyler for one year as a fifth grade self-contained teacher. Prior to that, I taught language arts and science at Troup Middle School and coached Junior High Girls’ athletics for three years. I returned home to Troup and taught 5th grade math at Troup Elementary from 2004-2015. I changed to 3rd grade math in 2015 and truly enjoy this journey. It is a great blessing to be able to teach where I grew up.

My husband, Clint, and I have three children, one son that graduated from Troup, and two daughters who attend Troup. Our family pet is our English Bulldog, Maggie. We love to attend sporting events and travel.
